TCCH COO - Position Summary

Treasure Coast Community Health, Inc., an established, fourteen year old, expanding Federally Qualified Health Center providing primary medical, dental, and mental health services is seeking a Chief Operations Officer (COO). As a direct report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) this person will work in a collaborative manner with the TCCH Board of Directors and the employees of the centers. The COO will be responsible for the daily operations of three (3) clinical operating units in Indian River County, Florida.

This officer coordinates and oversees services at all sites, as well as:

Applicants should have as a minimum a Bachelor's Degree, (Masters preferred in MPH, MBA, MHA). Knowledge of Healthcare field is preferred with 3 + years of operations experience preferably in a FQHC community clinic. The qualified candidate must demonstrate excellent communications skills, verbally and via computer technology, leads by example with effective problem solving and management abilities. Candidates should have a history of cooperative approaches which builds and sustain collaborative relationships among medical staff, community, and other health service agencies. Using multiple approaches, the COO’s role is intended to optimize customer-oriented, quality-focused clinical and administrative services, while operating within fiscally responsible limits, especially for ambulatory underserved public clients.

Dental Director

The Sulzbacher Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center providing primary medical, dental and mental health services is seeking a Florida licensed dentist to serve as Dental Director. This is a full time position responsible for the clinical management of the Center’s dental clinic and its related services. This position involves a combination of clinical and administrative responsibilities that requires a great deal of dental skill and autonomous decision-making. In the clinical role, the Dental Director provides primary dental care to eligible patients, managing medications, treatments, and referrals for other services as needed and as governed by approved dental protocols. In the administrative role, the Dental Director is responsible for the supervision of dental students and the clinical administrative management of the primary care clinic including quality assurance and the management of paid and volunteer dental clinic personnel. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Board of Directors of Northeast Florida Health Services, Inc. (NEFHS) seeks a highly motivated and experienced professional to assume leadership of this thriving private, non-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). NEFHS operates one medical center in Volusia County; is headquartered in Pierson, Florida; and, currently employs over 14 people including physicians, nurse practitioners and clinical/clerical/administrative support staff. In the next eight to twelve months, NEFHS plans to relocate its existing services into a larger facility and establish two additional access points in Volusia County in the communities of Deland and Deltona. Staff size will increase from 14 to approximately 50 at that time. Executive Director’s responsibilities include management of all administrative, fiscal, personnel and operational aspects of NEFHS’ programs and activities. This position answers directly to the Board of Directors.

CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS: A Master's Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration or Public Health and at least three years of experience in health care management with an FQHC OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration or Public Health with a minimum of five years experience in health care management with an FQHC. The successful applicant will also possess experience in strategic and organizational planning; exceptional leadership qualities including superb communication skills and proficiency in staff development and management; the ability to work cooperatively with a volunteer Board of Directors; and, a caring, compassionate personality. Candidate must also be knowledgeable of relevant federal regulations pertaining to FQHCs, the development of operating and capital budgets, the completion of grant applications and funding source required reports, and the development and maintenance of business relationships with other community service providers and community leaders.
