The PROTECT™ Adult Performance Improvement-CME activity enables practicing clinicians to assess their performance, knowledge, and practice infrastructure in immunization services for high risk adults and offers guidance as well as tools to bridge identified gaps. Using a HIPAA-compliant, confidential platform, clinicians can evaluate how well their practice manages patient immunizations, and be guided toward resources that help to overcome barriers and initiate systems-based solutions.
The full sequence of activities offered within the PROTECT™ Performance Improvement Module is available to physicians, particularly: pediatricians, family physicians, internists, obstetricians/gynecologists, and geriatricians. Other members of the immunization care team are welcome to visit the care team resources page accessible by the link below, and engage in the immunization tools and resources provided on the page. This program awards AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, American Osteopathic Association Category 1-B Credit, and American Academy of Family Physicians Prescribed Credits for physicians.
PROTECT™ allows clinicians to choose among three different modules for their performance improvement effort. Each module focuses on a different age group:
