Implementing Telehealth at FQHCs

CMS has recently implemented an enhanced CoCM reimbursement, AHCA is encouraging more telehealth through SMMC, and Centers are each investigating the proper method through which they can provide care by this modality.

Increasing Access to Care Panel Discussion: Successful Strategies for Growing the Number of Patients Served at Florida FQHCs

Increasing access to comprehensive healthcare services for Floridians is imperative for meeting growing demand in our state and is a strategic priority for HRSA. The goal of serving more patients can be accomplished in different ways: Opening new sites or expanding existing ones, adding new staff or services, forming new partnerships, improving operational efficiency, increasing outreach and enrollment, implementing new delivery models, and reconfiguring staff are some of the most promising practices.  In this session Florida FQHCs leaders will share successful strategies for significantly increasing the number of patients served while maintaining high clinical quality, and they’ll share their thoughts about strategic issues for Florida FQHCs moving forward. Audience participation and discussion will be encouraged.

Information will be presented that depicts the growing problem of PBMs, the impacts to FQHCs, and strategies for addressing the problem.
